The New York Times wrote an article on The Sims 3.

IN its biggest campaign yet for its biggest franchise, Electronic Arts is making The Sims video game a little more sociable.
The Sims lets players choose characters and create lives for them, selecting everything from when they sleep to what their bathroom looks like (“Sims” is short for “simulated”). Introduced in 2000, and updated in 2004, it became the best-selling line of PC-based video games in the world. In The Sims 3, which goes on sale June 2, there are new features.

Riverview 05/09/2009

IGN has released an article about Riverview, the additional neighborhood that will be available as a free download beginning on June 2nd.

"EA let out the last big reveals for the game last week when it announced that a second town, Riverview, would be released as a free download when the game hits shelves on June 2. Fittingly, we got a peak at Riverview at EA's pre-E3 event this week in Los Angeles. Riverview is a far different place than Sunset Valley, the town that will ship with the game. The latter is a gorgeous little coastal town while the former is designed to be a slower, more tranquil farming community. It's a pretty place, surrounded by farmland and with plenty of little nooks and crannies to explore. As you'd expect from the name, the river that runs through it defines the map. Quite a number of houses are located on an island in the middle of the river, and it feels like a more rural place. There's a great fishing spot that doubles as a secluded barbeque area, as well as a mini-Stonehenge on a small island."

Remember you can always request a song by clicking here!
